"VBS is always a blessing and almost like a shot of much needed spunk for everyone that participates. When you see the "Jesus seeds" getting planted and watered in children, how can you not want to shout and sing praises to the Lord! While it can be difficult for a small country church like LBCBC to staff the needed volunteers and workers, the Lord always comes through with enough! Just like Jesus showing He was the powerful Son of God when He fed the multitudes with 5 loaves and 2 fish.
When the planning & executing gets difficult from all the fiery darts and seemingly fatal sword thrusts of Satan, give it ALL to God in prayer; because He will sustain you and carry you through to the end.
On a personal level, I know the enemy was doing everything he could to make me give up this year. All I can say is BUT GOD. He held me, he covered me, and led me. He will be with each of us ALways, even to the end. Remember, when Satan is working overtime, God has big plans in store!! He will sustain you!
"...I was wearing different hats at different times. We made it through, and what a blessing it was to our church!! Our last night, Family Fun Night, we had 91 total in attendance (adults, children, youth helpers, and babies). It was a bit of organized chaos outside with the slide, children playing in the sprinklers and eating Konas!"
