West Virginia Missions

We were blessed in 2022 to have the opportunity to serve seven churches in the Bluefield area of Virginia/West Virginia with more than 100 volunteers.  We led six Bible Schools and served the area with construction/repair projects on their homes. (Read more about our trip in lower righthand column.) We were able to make the trip without being affected by Covid and we are planning and preparing as if it won't be an issue this year.

Consequently, we need teams to lead Bible Schools at several churches in and around the Beautiful (and cool) Bluefied/Princeton region of West Virginia/Virginia.  We need cook teams, teachers, helpers, folks to lead music and crafts and even van drivers.  We need folks with construction skills or who are willing to help with construction/repair projects.

The churches we serve with are looking forward to and need the ministry partnership and encourage that we bring.

You can find all the information on the links supplied here.

A team of 140+  from Kilpatrick Baptist Association and Hephzibah Baptist Association traveled to WV/VA in July to minister to those living in the area around Bluefield, WV/VA. We had 6 VBS teams serving in Matoaka, Pocahontas, Pipestem, Princeton, Bluewell, and Edgmont. We had 250+ in the various VBS classes for the week with at least 18 salvations.

We had a construction team which worked hard pressure washing and painting a mission house in Pocahontas and Tender Mercies (food bank) in Princeton as well as painting a concrete wall in Matoaka. The construction team also had a few guys who repaired the food bank's riding lawn mower.

There was an oil change station in Pocahontas for the first time during our annual trip. The 3 member team was blessed to do 29 oil changes, 2 brake jobs, 1 sway bar replacement, 4 damaged oil plug replacements, and 1 transmission leak repair.
